2018 Special Olympics Florida State Summer Games

In Spring of 2018, I was honored with the opportunity to be a member a team who worked on the public relations campaign for the 2018 Special Olympics Florida State Summer Games, in collaboration with Walt Disney World Public Relations and Walt Disney World Public Affairs. In this campaign, we integrated various tactics to create awareness and buzz such as coordinating athlete tours, distributing media alerts, and planning and executing a VIP reception/media event during the opening ceremony which included the announcement of Orlando becoming the host city for the 2022 Special Olympics USA Games. Through our efforts, we earned over 30 media placements including local and national television segments.

2018 April ELLE cover featuring Kim Kardashian as a result of pitching efforts for the YEEZY x 2XU campaign. Through my agency work, I was a member of the team which support 2XU's public relations initiatives and assisted in finding key media contacts to best share the story behind the collaboration.

Lambda Pi Eta Brand Awareness Campaign

In joint effort with colleagues at Rollins College, I participated in a campaign which focused on enhancing the awareness of the Rollins College Lambda Pi Eta Chapter. Tactics included an audio news release played on the campus radio WPRK, a video news release featured on their social media channels, and press releases to local media detailing their upcoming events. Along with assisting in crafting the press release, I also created the script for the video news release.

Universal Orlando Resort Media Alert

Media alert sent out through Universal Orlando Resort for their fourth annual “A Celebration of Harry Potter” celebrity media event. Language was translated to reflect trade audiences by public relations coordinator Nathalia Romano with my assistance. For distribution of the release, CisionPoint was used to capture local and national media.
